Isaac Shapiro: Meetings in Truth, Woche 1

What an amazingly lucky life for us all, to have the opportunity to keep exploring for the benefit of all beings.

Feeling blessed, privileged and grateful to generate a field with all of you that have this interest, which benefits us all.

Somehow, the quality of Tantric samurai was embodied by this last retreat. Many people think that intimacy is about sex, when actually intimacy is about truth.


Collective trauma addressed
It is truly remarkable that the profound collective trauma resulting from the pandemic could be so profoundly and swiftly addressed.

Retreat 2026

The retreat 2026 will be held at Jonathan Seminarhotel, Kellerstrasse 5, 83339 Chieming / Hart, Germany.

The first week is from Sunday July 5th to Sunday July 12th; the second week from Sunday July 12th to Sunday July 19th 2026.
You are welcome to book for either week, or both.

All ages and stages are welcome.

Silent retreat/celebration
This is an invitation to be conversationally silent between meetings and give yourself the opportunity to to simply be with yourself without the usual distractions that require our attention.

The beauty of this invitation is that nothing needs to be changed, fixed or eliminated. It is a nondualistic, nonjudgmental enquiry into our present being. Everything happens through the agency of awareness. In the recognition with who we are -awareness with the capacity to know- there is peace in every moment, and all problems are recognised as not existant.


Schedule of the week
The first day there will be an evening meeting, 7-9 pm. The next two days there will be two meetings, 10-12 am and 7 till 9 pm, and then four days three meetings, the third being 2 to 4 pm. The last day a morning meeting, 10 -12.

The meetings will be in English with translation into German.

Investment
The investment is twofold: you pay for your meals and accommodation to Jonathan and you pay a contribution to me.

The price list also informs you about the cancellation policy, a possible price increase (unclear situation about minimum wage and sales tax), the bankdetails of Jonathan etc.


Contribution Isaac
My contribution payed -in cash- at the beginning of each week, or if you are coming for the whole event at the beginning of the event, will remain as it was in 2018: € 320 per week, if you do two weeks, € 40 discount, € 600.

If anyone is genuinely struggling financially, please contact me and we can see what we can work out with my portion.

How to book/make a reservation
You make you reservation with the Contact Form at the Jonathan website or by an email to info@jonathan-seminarhotel.de

At the Contact Form you fill in your name, address, email-address etc., which week(s) you want to come, and in 'For your request' your first and second choice of accommodation.

To complete your reservation you pay the deposit of € 150 per week, € 300 for both weeks to the bankaccount mentioned in the price list.

If within two weeks after you hear from Jonathan about your request and you do not pay the deposit, your place in the retreat -including your accommodation- will be given free again without any further reminder to you.

After receicing your deposit Jonathan confirms your reservation. If you can't be there the whole week, you will still be charged for a week.

Participation is limited to 120 participants for a week. Lunch on Sunday 12th is included for those who stay the first week and both weeks. For those who stay only the second week, board starts with dinner on the 12th and ends with lunch on the 19th (as it does for those who stay two weeks.)

Check-in starts 14:00 hrs Sunday July 5th and July 12th; your rooms are available at 15:00 hrs.


Feldenkrais
Feldenkrais classes in English are offered. Twice daily taped lessons will be played at no extra charge (optional).

The Feldenkrais method invites a natural grace and freedom of movement, by being aware of what you are doing while you are doing it. Awareness Through Movement lessons invite a playful and gentle learning environment to reveal unconscious habits and patterns of movement, thinking and feeling. The organic learning that occurs is accumulative. This is a unique opportunity to experience a substantial shift in your embodiment.

No previous experience required. If interested, please bring loose clothes and a blanket or mat.
